Hi,
Good Morning
i like you software and it easy to make thing in particular system it works fine

is their any way to remove this auto.inf virus through networking using auto eater.

THANKS

Old McDonald: Hi, good morning to you too. We're glad you like the software. Autorun Eater is meant to remove suspicious autorun.inf files on local computers only so there is currently no function to do so through the network(eg. LAN). Hope that answers your question. Have a great day! :)

Autorun Eater is really great.
The problem is the drive letter of my media is not A and B, how can i scan it?

Old McDonald: All drives(except A:, B: and optical drives) are actively monitored. If you have drives A: and B:, you can manually scan it using the options available. Hope this helps to solve the confusion. :)

I'm not on that PC at the moment, so can't give exact error, but it more or less claimed I didn't have a Drive A (same trying it with Drive B that I don't have).

I tried it with an floppy in the drive and without a floppy inserted and got same error.

The error it gives on the PC I am using which doesn't have a floppy Drive A / B is
"Could not scan drive (a:)
It does not exist, does not contain any media or the media is corrupted, eg Floppy."

That error is very similar or the same to what my other PC says, so it seems it isn't recognising I actually have a floppy drive, yet the drive does work normally.

DDave

Old McDonald: It shows the same error message when there's no floppy drive, or even where there is but no floppy is inserted. But it's strange that the same error message should be shown even when a floppy is inserted. If a floppy is inserted but no suspicious 'autorun.inf' file is detected, a message should appear(not error message) informing you that no suspicious 'autorun.inf' file is detected.

I don't have a floppy with me now but I'll try to get hold of one and test it out to see if the same thing happens.
